Managing seats

Seats can be managed at any point during your billing period

Professional and Starter workspace have seats which can be assigned to members based on role. Paid roles are Admin and Editors. Each of these roles requires a seat. Viewers are free and do not require a seat in the workspace. Only Admin can make adjustments to the seats in a workspace.

Adding Seats in Professional Plan

  1. Navigate to the Settings page in the sidebar of your file dashboard
  2. On the Plans & Billing page of the Settings sidebar, click on Manage Seats
  3. Add seats to your plan using the + button
  4. When upgrading from the Starter plan to the Professional plan, you can choose to add seats to your plan
  5. Upon confirmation, an immediate invoice is generated for the upcoming billing period. The cost is based on the number of seats selected
  6. This change takes effect immediately. A prorated amount is calculated based on the remaining time in the current billing period to cover the cost of the new seats. The subscription is updated, and the next invoices will include these additional seats.
  7. With this change, Admin will be able to invite more editors or admin immediately

Remove Seats in Professional Plan

  1. Navigate to the Settings page in the sidebar of your file dashboard
  2. On the Plans & Billing page of the Settings sidebar, click on Manage Seats
  3. Admin can remove the amount of seats needed with the - button. A minimum of 1 seat is required
  4. This change becomes effective at the end of the current billing period, meaning your workspace will still have access to the current number of seats until these scheduled changes take effect.
    • ⬇️ If the organization has more than two editors or admins (invited or active), the extra editors will be downgraded to viewers. We will start by downgrading invited users, followed by the most recently joined users

Admins (paid) – can edit files, manage workspace settings, billing, teams, and invite members. Editors (paid) – can edit files but not manage settings, billing, or teams. Viewers (free) – can only view files in read-only mode.

Team billing is handled centrally by the Admin. All paid seats, whether Admins or Editors, are included in a single invoice under the same billing cycle, while Viewers remain free and do not affect the cost.

Yes, you can. An Admin can update the plan in the billing settings, and the switch will take effect on the next billing cycle at the annual rate.

Yes, you own everything you create in Vizcom. For free users, while Vizcom may use generated images to improve its services, it does not claim ownership of your designs, concepts, or original ideas—you keep full rights to them. For paid users, your images and designs remain entirely private and are only used to deliver the service. Every design, concept, and image you create or upload is fully yours and kept confidential.

Vizcom does not use your data to train AI models if you’re on a paid plan. Everything you create stays private and is only used to provide the service. Free users may have their generated images included to help improve Vizcom’s services, but even then, Vizcom does not claim ownership of your designs, concepts, or original ideas—you retain full rights.
