From muddy to buddy, this shoe is your companion for every trail and every weather. Made for mud and shaped by it, it balances rugged durability with relaxed comfort, designed to get dirty and be easy to clean. It lets you fill the outdoors with a chill feeling, like being at home in nature.

This shoe explores organic structures inspired by nature, translating coral-like formations into a fluid and sculptural sole design. The flowing geometry creates a bold, futuristic silhouette while maintaining visual softness and movement.

PIX MIX merges construction logic with playful geometry. Through a playful aesthetic, reminiscent of puzzle pieces (like Rubik's Cube, Tetris, Lego, Minecraft, etc.), the project uses geometric fragmentation and a vibrant palette to transform the act of fitting shoes into a dynamic visual experience.

For a while, AI was scrutinized for an inability to represent hands, this design showcases AI's advancements since then through a form most achievable with 3D printing.

CATAPILL is a biomimetic mule inspired by the anatomy and movement of a caterpillar. The segmented outsole translates the insects rhythmic contraction and gripping prolegs into soft, flowing ribs and cavities that suggest flexibility, cushioning, and traction. Inflated Organic volumes replace rigid mechanical lines, creating a playful yet function form that expresses motion and comfort through shape.

800 years in the future, a science-forward humanity sends humans on centuries long expeditions to explore and settle on inhabitable planets across the galaxy. Concerned that humans may struggle to maintain a sense of humanity when born lightyears from Earth, a system is devised in which people are able to relive the memories of their ancestors' time on Earth through shoes that hold lived experiences in their material. People aboard the ark are able to relive what humanity on Earth looks like through the joys, sorrows, and wonder experienced by many lives leading up to their own.

The model is designed as an open mule with a one-piece molded construction and smooth futuristic lines. The wide sole and deep footbed provide stability, comfort, and reliable support for everyday wear.

The Diffusion Mule is a physical abstraction of the core technical principle that makes creative AI possible: reverse diffusion. From a distance the shoe holds a clean, familiar silhouette; as the viewer draws closer, the surface visually deconstructs into voxel-like digital noise; capturing the exact moment where visual order emerges from latent space, frozen mid-process in 3D-printed form.

Flo draws inspiration from the streamlined form of airplanes and aerodynamic nature. The front maintains a clean, minimal silhouette similar to an aircraft’s nose while the rear introduces sharper, aerodynamic lines reminiscent of wing and tail structures.

The Nonu Heel Mule reimagines the high heel as both a statement and a daily essential. As someone who has always loved the elegance of heels but longed for a pair comfortable enough to wear all day, I designed Nonu to bridge that gap. Sculptural and lightweight, it’s made for women who want effortless elegance without sacrificing comfort.

Fast fashion has created significant sustainability issues through excessive waste, overconsumption, and a throwaway culture that devalues the things we own. This shoe is a nod to a time when people patched up, repaired and cared for their belongings to extend their life, exploring how circular design principles can find a place within 3D printed footwear. While traditional repair may not be feasible with 3D printed shoes, the material can be recycled and reimagined into entirely new pairs, closing the loop on waste.

This mule is built as a monolithic form inspired by aeolian topography, translating displacement, compression, and accumulation into one continuous wearable volume. The upper and sole flow together through a series of ridges that repeat with variation, creating rhythm, directional movement, and a balanced distribution of mass across the silhouette. Even with its dense and grounded presence, the geometry is meant to feel like temporary topography, shaped by forces in motion rather than by a fixed and static condition.

The design keeps the standard mule open back but leans hard into the manufacturing methods abilities with flowing curves and a spiky toe-box. So much of design is material or process reliant and therefore a lot of traditional mule design is based on the constraints of leather. I wanted to utilise 3D printing to the max even using a modify node asking to adapt my then final design to be more 3D printing friendly. This has led to a Mule that shows its design process, Vizcom and Zellerfield.

SHED reimagines everyday mules as a durable, sustainable essential by tackling their most common failure point—the worn-out tread, which often leads to premature disposal. Inspired by the rattlesnake’s ability to shed its skin, it features a regenerative tread system where a new hexagonal pattern emerges with wear, extending the product’s lifespan without compromising comfort. The design unites durability, modularity, and a clean, terrain-inspired visual language for conscious, design-forward users.

Addressing the everyday desire for holiday escapism, 'Sandy' utilizes a unique structural footbed to recreate the tactile sensation of walking barefoot on sand. The design seamlessly merges form and branding, integrating the logo’s 'S' directly into the shoe's architecture while the custom sole imprints a continuous trail of the brand's emblem with every step.

This mule takes inspiration from the sculptural forms of beetles, translating their protective shells into a smooth, continuous silhouette that feels both organic and futuristic. The exaggerated volumes and seamless surface create a bold yet minimal form, while the open mule structure keeps it effortless and wearable. Designed as a balance between nature and modern design, it turns a familiar natural form into a distinctive everyday object.

Fugu is inspired by the puffer fish. Soft round bulbous form with precision spike traction. The pattern is inspired by the print of a puffer fish when it puffs up. The purpose of the shoe is to explore Vizcom and push story telling.

The Saman is an amber mule with organic tree root forms spreading along the upper with a Tumi-shaped tongue, drawing directly from pre-Columbian artifacts and motifs. Named after the Saman tree — a beloved gathering space in Central and South America, this elevated mule is built for long-wear and traditional gatherings. Iterations throughout the process show we've been and where we are going.

The result is a high-impact design that balances nature’s soft forms with a bold, 3D-printed structure.

Lithos is a sculptural 3D-printed mule inspired by geological strata rising from a solid rock bed. Layered forms grow upward from the sole, wrapping the foot like sediment deposits formed over time. Beneath, a fossil-inspired outsole texture represents the rock bed, preserving traces of ancient imprints while providing traction.
