Fugu is inspired by the puffer fish. Soft round bulbous form with precision spike traction. The pattern is inspired by the print of a puffer fish when it puffs up. The purpose of the shoe is to explore Vizcom and push story telling.

I wanted something with a strong bulbous silhouette so it wears as a cozy mule, top view reads as a subtle half circle so when in a pair it finishes the circular shape. The puffer fish inspired the natural patterns that gradually stretched into the spiked treads at the bottom. The story of how its displayed is underwater hiking inspired, so it touches on Vizcom's ability to push story telling in impossible environments.
